What is an Authorization Code, System ID and/or Activation Key?
is a unique number assigned to each product you purchase.
When will I use the authorization code?
The only time this number is needed is for order verification or if you want to transfer the license purchased to someone else. NOTE: A license cannot be transferred after a product has been activated.
Where do I find the authorization code?
After placing an order with us, you will receive a detailed order confirmation via email. Each product purchased will have a unique authorization code.
How to transfer a license:
The person you will be transferring the license to must create an account on our website.
Forward the current email address where the product resides, the email address of the account you want the product transferred to, the name of the product being transferred and the product's corresponding authorization code to firstname.lastname@example.org. We will then transfer the license for you.
IMPORTANT NOTE: THIS PROCESS WILL NOT WORK IF THE PRODUCT HAS BEEN ACTIVATED!
What happens if I lose the authorization code?
To get another copy of your authorization code, go to the My Account page on our website, click the order history link and choose to email your order confirmation to yourself.

NOTE: We always recommend that you do not uninstall the software, rather, install on top of the old version. If you uninstall the test engine, the same computer will generate a new System ID when the product is re-installed and it will require you to activate the products again.
When will I use the System ID?
The System ID will be needed if you cannot use the Automated Activation feature.
Where do I find the System ID?
After successfully installing a product, creating a login profile and starting the product for the first time, you will be prompted to activate the installed product. Select manual activation and the System ID will be displayed on the bottom left corner of the screen.
How do I use the System ID?
There are two ways to use the System ID.
Copy the System ID that displays on the Manual Activation screen onto your clipboard. Go to My Account on our website, select Activate Products, paste the System ID into the required field and select the Get Activation Key button. The system will return the Activation Key so you can paste it into the corresponding field on the Manual Activation screen in the test engine.
You can email the System ID and Authorization Code to email@example.com and we will email the activation key to you.
NOTE: If you have multiple products installed, all of the products selected will be activated at this point.
is a unique identifier that works together with the System ID to activate the products that are installed on your system.
When will I use the Activation Key?
The only time the Activation Key is needed is when manual activation is selected after installing your product.
Where do I find the Activation Key needed?
There are two ways to get the Activation Key:
Copy onto the clipboard the System ID that displays on the Manual Activation screen of your installed product. Go to the My Account page on our website, select Activate Products, paste the System ID into its corresponding field and click the Get Activation Key button. The system will return the Activation Key for you to paste into the corresponding field within your product.
Send your System ID to firstname.lastname@example.org and we will email the Activation Key to you.
How do I use the Activation Key?
The Activation Key should be pasted into the corresponding field that appears on the manual activation screen within the product. It is the same screen that displays your System ID.
