Why am I being asked to activate my product(s) on the same machine again even though I have already activated them?

Certain defragmentation utilities such as Norton Speed Disk move the license files causing license loss. There are 4 special hidden licensing files which control the product's licensing. To prevent license loss, you must stop these files from being moved. In the case of Norton Speed Disk, once the product is installed and activated:

Open Speed Disk, and choose File, Options, Customize, and Unmovable Files.
Specify that *.ent, *.rst, and *.key (remember to use the wild card! [* or ?])files cannot be moved.
Choose File, Option, Optimization and Save to save the new profile.
